She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Sweeney and Blanche Sweeney (Trexler); her husband David S. Burkey; her sons, John C. Burkey and Mark A. Burkey; her grandson Robert James Rosario; and her siblings, Clyde, Jerry, James, Tommy, Raymond, Gordon, George Sweeney, Marjorie Glozzer, Betty Farrell, Margaret Carlini, Joanne Haynes and Alice Santiago.
She is survived by: her children, David Burkey (Donna) of Georgetown, PA, Keith Burkey, Kevin Burkey (Tracey), Diana Rosario (Juan) and Margo Santiago (Abimael); and her sisters, Joyce Hunsucker (James) and Nancy Batykefer. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren.
