She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Ruehrwein and Edythe Ruehrwein (Schooler); her husband Morris "Bud" Schunk; her son Scott; and her brother Richard "Dick" Ruehrwein.
She is survived by: her daughters, Stephany VanGorden (Martin) and Shelley Mason (Mark); her grandchildren, Abbey White (Tim), Scott Mason (Valerie), Zack VanGorden (Amanda) and Lee Mason (Rachel); her great grandchildren, Molly, Sally, Sadie, Jake, Jon, Eli, Garrett and Anna; and her sister-in-law Lillian Ruehrwein. She is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
