It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharon Knippen of Ottoville, Ohio, who passed away on December 26, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Plescher and Jenny "Jane" Plescher (Bowersock); her husband James J. Knippen; and her siblings, Terry Plescher, John Plescher and Joan Hartnett.
She is survived by: her children, Roger "Joe" Knippen (Pat) of Wapak, Rick "Mase" Knippen (Shannon) of Ottoville, Robb Knippen (Jill) of Fort Jennings, Tim Knippen of Ottawa, Shirley Patterson of Van Wert, Jayne Knippen Minnig of Ottoville, Kassie Sarka (John) of Ottoville, Ortha Lanoue (Bill) of Angola, IN and Olivia Maag (David) of Prosper, TX; and her brother Mike Plescher. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren.
