She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Broecker and Lauretta Broecker (Ellerbrock); her sons, Norman and Steven Grote; and her brothers, Louis and Donald Broecker.
She is survived by: her husband Norbert Grote; her children, Dennis Grote of Cloverdale, Patricia Risner (Robert) of Elida, Michael Grote (Sharon) of Ottoville, Diane McDougle (Jeff) of Delphos, Jean Lyons (Mike) of Delphos, David Grote of Cloverdale, Karen Eickholt of Ft. Jennings, Tim Grote (Kara) of Ottoville and Ken Grote (Connie Rosselit) of Kalida; and her siblings, Charles Broecker of Ft. Jennings, Roger Broecker (Alice) of Ft. Jennings, Paul Broecker (Jo) of Ft. Jennings, James Broecker (Jeanette) of Ft. Jennings, Betty Miller (Richard) of Ottoville and Catherine McGraw of Ft. Jennings. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
