It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Leo Wurst of Ottoville, Ohio, who passed away on December 18, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank H. Wurst and Hilda Wurst (Scharf); his brothers, Richard and Arthur Wurst; and his siblings-in-law, Gloria Wurst, Deloris Wurst, Patrica Wurst and Roger Hedrick.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Blankemeyer; his children, Gary Wurst (Kathy Holden) of Ottoville, Michael Wurst of Lakeview and Sandra Friedrich of Ottoville; his grandchildren, Aaron Wurst (Lindsay), Sara Vasquez (Galen), Kayla Leonard (Michael), Alex Friedrich (Karrisa) and Eric Friedrich; his great grandchildren, Emmeline Wurst, Eleanor Wurst, Leo Vasquez, Emanuel Vasquez, Bentley Wannemacher, Ayden Friedrich, Sophie Mayes and Xavier Friedrich; his brothers, Larry Wurst of West Carrollton and Rodney Wurst (Lois) of McCormack, SC; and his sisters-in-law, Brenda Eversole Wurst of Van Wert, Marilyn Hedrick of Brookville, IN and Janis Rafferty (George) of Celina.
Following the COVID 19 regulations, visitation will be from 4 to 8 p. m. on Sunday at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Jackson Township.
Memorials may be made to Putnam County Hospice or to a charity of the donor's choice.
