It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Joseph Herman (Ottoville, Ohio), who passed away on July 2, 2019, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Herman and Theresa Herman (Ruen); and his siblings-in-law, Richard Rhine and Helen Herman. He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Herman (Schmersal); his children, Margaret Knueven (Charles) of Ottoville, Virginia Wehri (Dan) of Kalida, Keith Herman of Ottoville and Carolyn Miller (Steve) of Kalida; his siblings, Frances Rhine of Lima, Leo Herman of Ottoville, Carl Herman (Doris) of Ottoville, Ralph Herman (Kay) of Ottawa and John Herman (Jean) of Ottoville; his grandchildren, Ross Knueven (Libby), Jeremy Wehri (Kacie), Ashley Niemeyer (Brad), Andy Miller (Sarah) and Craig Miller (Karri); and his great grandchildren, Kolton Knueven, Addisyn, Hudson Wehri, Danielle Niemeyer, Haley, Lillian and Clark Miller.
Memorials may be made to Immaculate Conception Church, Putnam County Historical Society, or the Putnam County 4-H Endowment.
