It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Burgei of Ottoville, Ohio, born in Lima, Ohio, who passed away on August 13, 2020, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent Burgei and MaryLou Burgei (Wischmeyer). He is survived by: his spouse Deb Wehri; his children, Aaron Burgei of Ottoville, Rae-Ann Sanders of Ottoville and Emily Haggard (Bruce) of Delphos; his grandchildren, Kara, Courtney (Kendall Burgei), Alexis (Jaxon Sanders) and Hali (Chelsi Haggard); and his siblings, Linda Utendorf (Jim) of Grover Hill, Steve "Speedy" Burgei (Carol) of Kalida, Nick Burgei (Lisa) of Ottoville and Carolyn Horstman (Dale) of Cloverdale.
In keeping with the social distancing guidelines, a visitation will be held Monday 4 to 8 p. m. with a scripture service at 3:45 p. m. at LOVE-HEITEMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Jackson Township. Due to the restriction of COVID 19, masks are required when entering the funeral home and/or church.
Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
