With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Edward Schwertfeger of Ottawa, Ohio, born in Toledo, Ohio, who passed away on September 30, 2022 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, F. Edward Schwertfeger and Betty J. Schwertfeger (Sanders); his sisters, Louise Jaqua, Sandra Ansted and Betsy Davies; his brother-in-law Gareth Davies; and his devoteds, Springer Spaniel and Sam.
He is survived by: his wife Anne Schwertfeger (Asher); his children, Manon Korse (Marty) of Lexington, Kentucky and Robert Jr. Schwertfeger (Beth) of Maui, Hawaii; his grandson Michael; his brother-in-law Jerry Steer; and his sister Virginia "Ginger" Steer. He is also survived by ten nieces and nephews; and countless great-nieces and nephews.
