With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jean F. Schroeder of Ottawa, Ohio, born in Toledo, Ohio, who passed away on May 14, 2022 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father John MacPhie; her husband Richard J. Schroeder; her siblings, Eleanor Boham (John) and John MacPhie; and her siblings-in-law, Eunice Thrasher (Ivan), Eileen Schmidt, Janice Maag, George Schroeder (Ruth) and Maurice Schroeder.
She is survived by: her children, Ken Schroeder (Lisa) of Continental, Barb Twining (Lee) of Ottawa, Jim "Buck" Schroeder of Fort Jennings, Diane Burkholder (Steve) of Columbus Grove and Bob Schroeder (Ria) of Celina; her grandchildren, Jaime, Amanda, Jessica, Brent, Betsy, Ashley, Adam, Heather, Valerie, David, Joe, Sydney, Cory and Lauren Jean; and her siblings-in-law, Gail MacPhie of Georgia, Father Ken Schroeder of Celina and Clyde Schroeder (Joan) of Ottawa. She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Sts. Peter and Paul Endowment Fund, the Sts. Peter and Paul Educational Foundation or to the Ottawa-Glandorf Athletic Boosters.
