She was predeceased by: her parents, William Mahler and Rita Mahler (Sweeney); her husband Jim Staton, Sr.; and her brother William "Bud" Mahler (Donna). She is survived by: her children, Amy Barker and Jim Staton (Susan); and her sisters, Patricia Squibb (Richard) and Rose Reising (Johnny).
Memorial contributions in her name may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, the American Red Cross, or the American Cancer Society.
