He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Burson and Alice Burson (Broderick); his grandson Brett; and his siblings, Richard Burson and Charlotte Lane.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy; his children, Diane Schabel (Bob), Cindy Burson, Jeff Burson (Cathy) and Bill (Wendy McGaharan); and his grandchildren, Jason, Jimmy, Joel, Julie, Tyler, Jared, Jamey, Wade and Amanda. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
