She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Petrie and Margaret Petrie (Clara); her sister Judy; and her stepfather Earl Henning. She is survived by: her daughter Sherri Christensen; her sisters, Laura Dailey (Shane) and Teri Ann Heilman (Larry); her stepsister Cathy Carlo (Richard Heilman); her goddaughter Tory Thompson (Aaron); her niece Wendy Szczerbiak (Joe); her nephew Blake Heilman (Jessica); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Kerstin, Kaylee, Everett, Nicholas, Alice, Gage, Aiden and Easton. She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
