He was predeceased by: his parents, Don Ritchey and Judy Ritchey (Ricker); his aunt Linda Johnson; his brother-in-law Randy Carder; and his nephew John Ritchey Jr..

He is survived by: his children, Micheala and Steven Ricker; his siblings, Karen Quinn, John Ritchey (Michelle) and Kelly Carder; his uncle Keith Johnson; his nieces and nephews, Stephen Smith (Nathan), Elizabeth Rockwell (James), Katelyn Ritchey, Kelsey Carder and Zac Carder; and his great-niece Amelia Rockwell.
