He was predeceased by: his wife Vera Lee Rice; his daughter Darlene Kay Rice; his brothers, James and Mark Rice; his parents, Icie Rice and James Rice; and his sister-in-law Hollie.
He is survived by: his children, David Rice (Andrea) of Inman, SC., Robert Rice of Berea, Brian Rice (Denise) of North Ridgeville, Dale Rice of Berea and Beth Zanick of North Ridgeville; and his siblings, John Rice (Dorothy), Jerry Rice, Garry Rice, Tom Rice (Rita) and Carolyn Clutler (Glenn). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 1 great-granddaughter.
