She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband William; her children, Susan M. Ashburn, W. Todd Ashburn and Jason A. Ashburn (Kerry); her grandchildren, Jamie Katheryn Satterfield, Edward "Eddie" James Satterfield III, Austin Riley, Alexander William, Anthony Jason, Nikolaus Theodore and Samuel Todd Ashburn; her siblings, Judy Johnson (Ron), William "Bill" Eger (Linda) and S. Michele Sanfilippo; and her sibling-in-law Lizabeth Nekola (Todd).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Pulmonary Hypertension Association or the American Lung Association.
