He was predeceased by: his wife Julia A. (Nee Barnes); and his parents, Ruth Evard and Richard Evard. He is survived by: his children, Joseph Jr. of North Ridgeville, Jim (Gretchen) of North Ridgeville, Julia Oelker (Vincent) of Indianapolis, Mary Slanczka (Krist) of Sheffield Lake and Jean Becks (David) of North Ridgeville; and his sister Virginia Evard of Winnipeg Manitoba, Canada.. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
