He was predeceased by: his son Dr. Brian Holod; his parents, Walter Holod and Betty Lou Holod Lesh (Johnston); and his stepfather George W. Lesh. He is survived by: his wife Joyce (Sabat); his children, Sandee Tiller, Ridgeville, Sherrie Holod of Menlo Park, CA and Mark Holod of Lakewood; his grandchildren, Jordyn Holod, Luke, Andrew and Jaret Tiller; his brother Robert Holod (Leslie Taylor) of Bullard, TX; and his siblings-in-law, Gloria Sabat and Lee Sabat (Karen) of Kennedy Twp.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to West Shore Osteopathic Foundation to support the Graduate Medical Education program at UH St. John Medical Center (c/o the Holod family) or The Friendship APL, 8303 Murray Ridge Road, Elyria OH 44035.
