He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Melicant and Mary Melicant; and his wife Judith Melicant. He is survived by: his sons, Phillip Melicant Jr. (Tina), David Melicant and Kevin Melicant; his grandchildren, Carter Melicant, Paige Melicant, Brandon Melicant and Kayden Melicant; and his sisters, Diane Garmon and Marianne Melicant-Manzo (Eric).
