George C. Purpera Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George C. Purpera of North Olmsted, Ohio, who passed away on January 2, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Purpera and Wanda Purpera; his brother Robert Purpera; and his brother-in-law Andrew Mandela (Tina). He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Purpera; his children, Lisa Potteiger (Brian), David Purpera, Diana Woodle (Brandon) and Nicholas Purpera (Kailey); his grandchildren, Steven, Michael, Anthony, Nicholas Gaetani, Ransom, Luca Woodle, Kamryn and Hunter Potteiger; his sister Charlotte Imperatore (late John); and his sister-in-law Genevieve Durewicz (Andrew). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in George's memory be made to Cleveland Animal Protective League (clevelandapl.org).
