She was predeceased by: her parents, John Mertan and Mary Mertan; and her husband David C. Burtzlaff. She is survived by: her children, Laura Trauring (Everett), Lisa Apelt (Doug) and Matthew Burtzlaff (Dana); her grandchildren, Ryan Nally (Luisa), Erica Nally, Jackie Trauring (Emre), Rachel Earl (TJ), Jacob Apelt (Elizabeth), Charlie and Cole Burtzlaff; and her great grandchildren, Tripp, Emma and Cannon.
