It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Evelyn Lowery (North Olmsted, Ohio), born in Newport, Tennessee, who passed away on September 9, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Lewis and Janie Lewis; her sons, James R. Lowery and Curley Lowery Jr.; the father of her children Curley Lowery Sr.; and her siblings, Nora M. Manning, Dorothy Jenkins, Frank Lewis, Mary Edith Valentine and Johnny Lewis.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Lowery (Terry Eden), Tommy Lowery (Bernice) and Sheila Rivera (Julio); and her grandchildren, Janie Torres (Fernando), Robert Williamson (Nichole), Justin Lowery, Amanda Ostromek, Jessilyn Lowery, Lee Cover (Audrey) and Brandon Lowery. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
