He is survived by: his children, Daniel Nichol (Jodi Senka) of Berlin Center, Shelley Bugos of Boardman, Kimberly Cavanaugh (Ed Simon) of Lowellville, Kevin Nichol of Philadelphia, Jody Nichol of Pittsburgh, Darlene Hassay (Paul Fannin) of Lake Milton and Betty Stamm of North Jackson. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
