He was predeceased by: his parents, Dwight L. King and Gladys A. King (Hart); his wife Shirley (Davis); his daughter Jane Knapp; his siblings, Edward King and Hazel Weikert; and his grandson Daniel Eli King III.

He is survived by: his children, Jacquelynne Salmon (Robert) of Alexandria, Daniel King, Jr. of Lordstown, Robert King (Karen) of Newton Falls, William King (Lisa) of Lordstown, David King of Freeland and Timothy King (Mary Ann) of Lordstown; and his brother Wayne King of Canfield. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren.

The family requests material tributes take the form of contributions to the Antonine Village, 2675 N. Lipkey Rd., North Jackson, OH 44451.
