She was predeceased by: her parents, James Carl and Ida Carl (Fonce); her husband Paul Frank Kovach; her daughter Mary Celeste Kovach; and her siblings, Tony Carl, James Carl, George Carl, Edward Carl, John Carl, Samuel Carr, Charles "Chink" Carr, Josephine O'Connor, Rose Trotter (Wood), Annie Borton and Mary Filomina.
She is survived by: her sons, Gregory Kovach of Niles and Paul Martin Kovach (Kathleen) of McDonald; and her grandchildren, Alexander Kovach (Lisa) of Chicago, Illinois and Gabrielle Lageson (Daniel) of Cleveland. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
