She was predeceased by: her parents, Steve Laboda and Helen Laboda; her husband Joseph Soda, Sr.; her siblings, Margaret Isoldi, Helen Laboda and Steve Laboda; and her grandson Joseph V. Long, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Mark Soda of Niles, Joseph Soda, Jr. (Mary) of Niles, David Soda of Niles and Sherri Soda Long of Niles. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, sister and brothers-in-laws, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial contributions be made to the family to be divided up between Joan's favorite charities.
