It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Louise Mathews of Niles, Ohio, who passed away on September 30, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Holmes and Alma Holmes; her husband John Mathews; and her nephew Christopher Evans. She is survived by: her sister Janet Evans; her nieces, Kristin Ivans (Robert) and Jenna Steinbach (Kevin); her great-niece Evelyn; and her great-nephew Thomas.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Meals on Wheels.
