He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Jackson Ocheltree and Maple Pearl Ocheltree (Posey); his wife Shirley; and his siblings, Doris Britton, Rita Mace and Doy Ocheltree.

He is survived by: his son Ray (Dana Ocheltree); his siblings, June (Pat Farnsworth), Charles Ocheltree of New Philadelphia, OH and Roy (Jaine Ocheltree); and his grandchildren, Aliyah, Cameron and Murphy "Buddy".
