It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerald Hootman (Ney, Ohio), born in Hicksville, Ohio, who passed away on June 11, 2019, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Hootman and Mary Hootman (Gibson); his wife Susan A. Myers of February; and his siblings, Mary Ellen, Carma Sue, Margaret, Allen and Robert Hootman.
He is survived by: his children, Annie Keller (Dan) of Defiance, Missy Gray (Steve) of Defiance, Kirk Hootman of Butler and Todd Hootman of Antwerp; and his siblings, Juanita Roush of Auburn, Indiana and Roger Hootman of Auburn.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that those planning an expression of sympathy to consider memorial contributions be made to Glenn Park, 2429 William A. Diehl Court, Defiance, Ohio, 43512.
