Vera L. Hammersley Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vera L. Hammersley of Newcomerstown, Ohio, who passed away on February 15, 2025 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John McCormick and Nancy McCormick (Williamson); her brother Floyd McCormick; her nephew Rusty Grewell; and her niece Brandy Larrison.
She is survived by: her husband Thomas Hammersley; her daughters, Cassandra Sockman (Travis), Sierra Hammersley and Angela Miller; her grandchild Thomas Earl Hammersley; her great grandchild Taylee Matchett; her sisters, Debbie Foraker and Linda Russell (Roy); and her close friend Faye Clift. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
