He was predeceased by: his fathers, Joseph Harry McGinnis and Jay; and his brother George McGinnis. He is survived by: his children, Jay McGinnis (Vikki), Maggie Wisecarver (Bill) of Dresden and Ashlee "Nikki" Miller; his siblings, Katherine Irene Linn (Ray Armstrong) and Mike McGinnis (Lynn) of Fresno, Ohio; and his grandchildren, Chelcee, Makenna Spring, Kamryn McGinnis, Olivia, Klayton Bennett and Locklin Wisecarver.
