She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Smith and Minnie Smith (Kline); her son Bernie Sellards Jr.; her siblings, Donald, Bob, Harold and Dorothy; and her stepchildren, Rick Hicks and Connie Johnson.
She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Hicks; her daughter Lisa Saburny Jr. (Gil); and her stepchildren, Candi Harris (Kenny), Kenny Hicks (Cindy) and Steve Hicks (Lori).
She made over 1600 masks during Covid.
