She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde DeRhodes and Olive DeRhodes (Granger); her husband William Shandor; her daughter Mary Tatum; her sons-in-law, Russell Tatum and George Engleman Jr.; and her siblings, Carl DeRhodes, Gerald DeRhodes and Jean Welsh.

She is survived by: her children, David Shandor of Petersburg and Pat Engleman of New Middletown; her siblings, Joyce Dierkes, Ralph DeRhodes (Helen) of New Middletown, Frank DeRhodes (Michele) of New Middletown and Bruce DeRhodes (MaryAnn) of New Middletown; and her grandchildren, Heather Anastos, Steve Shandor, Colleen Shaw, Lorilyn Shandor, Dan, Tim Engleman, Mike, Bill, Mark and Diddle Tatum. She is also survived by 16 Great-grandchildren, and one Great-great granddaughter along with many nieces and nephews.

Due to COVID-19, we ask you to wear a proper face covering and maintain a social distance from others. Also due to COVID-19 we will not be joining together for a meal and fellowship but will have a summer event at the family lake to remember Ruth.
