He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann Hassey; his children, John Hatala of Columbiana, Debbie Kowal (Bruce) of Poland, Cheryl Fabian (Tom) of Arizona and Karen Chaszeyka (Ben) of New Springfield; his brother Deacon Ray Hatala (Susan) of Poland; and his grandchildren, Michael Hatala (Jennifer), Sara, Benny Chaszeyka, Monica Koby (Robert), Thomas Fabian (Alexis), Allison Kowal, Karlie McDermott (Conner) and Randy Hatala (Erin). He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
