He was predeceased by: his parents, Niklus Popovich and Anna Elash Popovich; his wife Ann Elizabeth; his son Joseph; his siblings, Mary Kosmo, Anne Gething, Dorothy Ferkula, Frances Atwood, Thomas, John, Edward, Raymond, Paul, Joseph, Steven, Bernard, Andrew and Benedict; his sons-in-law, Andrew Kadvan and Terrence VanSuch; and his grandson Matthew Francis Popovich.
He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth Ann Kadvan, Deborah VanSuch, Doreen Chance (Robert), Lauren Goist (Ken) and Gina Popovich; his grandchildren, Mike Kadvan, Lisa Clark (Alan), Jillian Frank (Brett), Teri Gorski (Jon), Col. Robert Chance (Major Corey), Melissa Anderson (James), Jason Goist (Ashley Villanueva), Ryan Goist (Maribeth), Brandon Goist (Bree) and Nicholas Popovich (Taylor); his great grandchildren, Meghan, Austin, Adriana, Riley, Owen, Devin, Brantley, Aryanna, Kyra, Emmarie, Ella, Lucas and Barrett; and his sister-in-law Phyllis Popovich.
