She was predeceased by: her husband William E. Smith; her brother-in-law Rodney Miller; her grandmother Shirley Gray; and her stepfather Samuel P. Hinkle. She is survived by: her parents, Rick Gray of Norwich and Mary Hood Hinkle of Moxahala; her children, T. J. Ross (Mariah), Chelsey Spangler (Brandan) and Jakob Ross (Kate); her grandchildren, Brooklyn, Brinlee, Bexley, Raegan, Joey, Mya and Millie; her boyfriend Dave Steele; her siblings, Tina Stover (Jeff), Samantha Miller and Brian Hinkle (Deanna); her son-in-law Davey Euman; and her pet Missy. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
She was able to help others through her gift of organ donation.
