It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Juan Carlos Garcia-Velez of New Lexington, Ohio, who passed away on June 7, 2024, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Calixto Garcia Velez, Carmen Mendieta, Josefina Arellano and Dr. Alvaro Silva. He is survived by: his parents, Carlos Garcia-Velez and Virginia Silva Garcia Velez; his siblings, Sofi (Paul), Alvaro (Mary), Cecilia (Pat), Virginia (Adam) and Danny (Odessa); his nieces and nephews, Phil (Nadia), Ana (Pete), Ellie (Matt), Margot, Cristy, Sofi, Andy, Cecilia, Sam, Lucy, Benny, Teddy, Alex, Gus, Kate, Ollie, Tommy and Zoe; his great-nephews, Johnny and Danny; and his great-niece Nina.

In lieu of flowers, donations preferred to Mount Aloysius at PO Box 598, New Lexington, Ohio 43764.
