He was predeceased by: his father Charles C. Potter; and his grandparents, Vina Potter, Guy and Rose Pidock. He is survived by: his mother Guyla Pidcock Potter (Crystal); his children, Roxanne, Lucas and Jordan; and his siblings, Etta Alexander (Brad), Jimmey Potter (Crystal), Greg Shriver and Jeff Pidock.
