He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Everett Dearth and Doris Dearth; his wife Diana Dearth; his son Jason Dearth; and his siblings, Sue Hercutt and Ken Dearth. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton or Dayton Children's Hospital in memory of Dennis.
