He was predeceased by: his parents, Damon D. Sr Phillips and Edna E. Guinn Phillips; and his siblings, Bobby, Katherine and Christine.
He is survived by: his wife Neva; his son Jared; his daughter-in-law Jackie; and his sisters, Linda Fugett and Lynn Birchhill.
