He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Ferris and Violet Ferris (Cain); his son Jeffrey Ferris; and his sisters-in-law, Bernice Hutchison and Ruby Jean Bachman.
He is survived by: his grandchild Watching Westerns; and his children, Jody Clark, Stacy Ross (Clay) and Bryce Ferris (Traci). He is also survived by five grandsons, four granddaughters, three great-grandsons, and four great-granddaughters.
