She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Bitzow and Sadie Bitzow (Sherman); her husband Melvin Leroy Gheen; her son Richard L. Gheen; her daughter-in-law Cathy Jo Gheen; and her sister Mary Jo Little.
She is survived by: her sons, Dale M. Gheen (Kathy) of Springfield and David M. (Tiana) of New Carlisle; her grandchildren, Daniel L. Gheen, Sarah R. Gheen (Jaysen Rump), Katy M. Trick (Kent Hirtzinger) and Kari M. Clements (Vince); her great grandchildren, Noah, Oliver and Norah; and her pet Penny.
