He is survived by: his parents, Donald Kendig and Janet Kendig (Daniel); his wife Cathy Kendig; his daughter Rachel Kendig; his uncle Marion Kendig; and his mother-in-law Ethel Stamper. He is also survived by other extended family and friends.
