She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Gene and Catherine Hodges. She is survived by: her husband David "Mike" Barnhart; her sons, Robert K. Barnhart (Amy) and David A. Barnhart (Kimberly); her brothers, Karl Hodges (Carla) and Charles Hodges (Kristen); and her grandchildren, Hannah and Landon. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
