He was predeceased by: his siblings, Harold Hamilton and Maxie "Toogie" McMillen; his parents, Ira Hamilton and Gladys Hamilton; and his brother Burnis.
He is survived by: his wife Lena Mae Hamilton; his children, Mark D Hamilton and Tammie Renee (Smart); and his sister Mazel Stumbo. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
