He was predeceased by: his mother Ursula Bleschke; and his grandfather Wilhelm Bleschke (Else). He is survived by: his former wife Phyllis Stilwill; his wife Sandy; his daughters, Tammy Tonjes (Rob) and Rhonda Bleschke; his stepdaughter Stephanie Molter (David); his grandchildren, Bradley Tonjes, Ryan Tonjes and Sophia Contreras; his stepgrandchildren, Sydney Brown (Rob), Ezra Scott, Lily Scott, Cameron Molter and Alayna Molter; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Marley, Layne Brown, Ralph Matson, Layana Doster, Angie Martin and Kenny Matson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
