He was predeceased by: his parents, John "Springy" and Sue Ciafardone (Marcinko); his wife Ruth A. Ciafardone (Midcap); and his brother John "Noony" Ciafardone. He is survived by: his children, David Ciafardone (Cindy) of Rayland, OH, Samuel P. Ciafardone, Jr. of Salisbury, MD and Sonia Ciafardone McCombs (Pat) of New Cumberland, WV; and his siblings, Phillip Ciafardone (Linda) of Brilliant, OH, Lorraine Golic of Mingo Junction, OH and Loretta Ciafardone of Myrtle Beach, SC. He is also survived by four grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
