He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert VanKirk and Mary VanKirk (Christian). He is survived by: his children, Chris Minteer (Mike) and Thomas VanKirk (Rebecca); his grandchildren, Joshua Pierson, Andrew Stiles, Heather Stiles, Maryiah VanKirk, Riley VanKirk and Madison VanKirk; and his former wife Norma Beck. He is also survived by many great grandchildren.
