She was predeceased by: her parents, Cyril Schwertley and Alice Schwertley (Bennett); her husband Raymond Thomas; her son Paul; her sister Jane Marfise; and her boyfriend John J. Nodge.
She is survived by: her children, Laura Long (Bob) of Columbus, OH, Dave Cavanaugh (Bonnie) of Middlefield, OH and Mike Cavanaugh (Gina) of Glenwood Springs, CO. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to the Cleveland Zoo Society, Cleveland Guardians Charities, or your local Humane Society.
