He was predeceased by: his parents, Reinhardt Tropf and Velma Tropf; his former wife Jennie (Ricker); and his siblings, Glenn, Bob, Myrtle, Laverne and Dorothy.
He is survived by: his wife Middlefield; his children, Barbara Tropf and Thomas Tropf (Jennifer); his sister-in-law Marge Tropf; and also Michelle Hayden.
