He was predeceased by: his parents, Dores Chilson and Alice Chilson; his former wife Sharon; his sister Priscilla Russell (Chilson); and his grandson Jared.
He is survived by: his sons, William (Cheri), Stephen (Amanda) and John (Marlo); his grandchildren, Katelynn, Nicholas, Jake, Kayla (Wayne), Kristen, Megan, Michael, Hannah (Collin), Brianna and Garrett; his great grandchildren, Aleena and Cayden; his brother William (Saundra); and his uncle Alvin. He is also survived by many brother & sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
